Between the hours of 2 and 3... am...

I had to title it that way, because my friend a fellow Mito and special needs mommy always says, when are we supposed to do that... between the hours of 2 and 3 am?

Our lives are busy... that is for sure... I have to keep a schedule book just for Reiley's appointments.. the various specialist and therapists, I'd be lost without her schedule book.. which I have to check first before I schedule anything for Ean or for myself.

Today, I had interactions with GI, Surgeon, Dermatology, Genetics, and Developmental/Behavioral pediatrician and didn't get a hold of immunology. Plus scheduling an appointment with psychiatry.

Driving to and from Phoenix Children's Hospital - 70 miles round-trip... My day was almost completely medically related. I did manage a quick trip to Basha's to pick up Hunts Ketchup (free and picking up to donate to the F.O.R. (Maricopa Food Bank) and some free deodorant.

Threw some frozen pizzas in the oven for Ean and I as hubby was going to Lexi's FFA dinner and award thing... then running through the other 70 emails I hadn't gotten to check yet... and emailing one travel client.

Tomorrow I'm going down to Gateway College to look at registering for school, yet again.  I have attended a couple of times.. once just to take some classes... and in 2002/2003 as I was going to school to be a RAD Tech.  I had been in travel forever... I started my career off in travel in high school. In 2001 after 911, and the CRAP company I worked for that ONLY cared about money wanted us to make outbound calls to try and drum up business... I told them to kiss my ass. Anyway, so I decided then I was going into health care... (boy little did I know then I'd really be in health care)... Ean was young, I went to work for Scottsdale HealthCare and started to go to school... I did 3 semesters and had to quit... it was too much, I was a single mom, trying to raise a young child who started having medical issues - Asthma and allergies, so 3 days a week to get shots, plus working full time and doing school, just didn't work for me so I dropped out. Then ended up going back into Travel.

Anyway, I've decided that I want to go back.. but going for EEG tech instead. The course is not as long, and I think there will be less physical requirements and well I'm not a spring chicken.

So between the hours of 2 and 3am... I'll be going to school... lol.. no, not really, but it will be an interesting challenge to take on. But I think its something that needs to be done. I'm hoping that hubby can pick up more on helping with Reiley, as that is the only way this will work. Plus we need to see if I can qualify for any grants, I think with our financial history there has to be some sort of grant program... not sure I could get a student loan... anyway... we shall see if life will get a little more complicated in the near future.
