TLC Extreme Couponing... my turn to rant!

Ladies and Gentleman...

Let me say a few things.

1.  I do not coupon shop like those depicted on TLC's EC show.

2.  I despise how TLC depicts 'coupon shopping'

3.  Those who they show with ROOM fulls of merchandise should be on their show called HOARDERS.

4.  IT'S MADE FOR T.V.!!


So far they have shown a thief, people using coupons incorrectly, people WIPING out shelves, HOARDING and very little donating. 

I know some of you have watched the show and think "Susan"... UM NO!

I use coupons correctly and question blogs all the time when the post use of a particular coupon that isn't exactly what the coupon reads/says... I can't do it.. I just can't do it.. it's WRONG!

I don't buy extreme quantities of items.  I think the most I have bought of one product in one trip is 9... and that was on something I informed the store a week in advance that they probably wanted to stock up on, and they had LOADS of it because of my informing them.

Seriously, I have a large family as well, but you don't see restaurant style storage racks in my home to hold my purchases. Or peg boards with hooks to hang everything... um.. no I keep on hand what we will use in a couple months time.  Do I have 30 boxes of kleenex... yup as all of us have extreme allergies and a few with asthma and we go thru a ton of tissues. Plus I'm crying an awful lot... :(  Plus I donate a lot - churches, food banks, pet shelter or rescue organizations... etc..

It's made for T.V. even those hoarders they have shown have all said during the show "this was my largest haul ever" YAY.. because the show has worked out deals with the stores to allow them to buy WAY MORE than they would ever let the average shopper buy. Believe me, most stores of limits, usually its no more than 3 like coupons. Even some coupons have printed on them you can't buy more than 4 of like item.  So when they are buying 66 bottles of Mustard.. (who the F**k does that) it isn't going to happen for YOU if you want to buy them all at once... and BTW you can get that for free... not whatever miss I must look all glamorous to go shopping because my image is shallow...

So please, get whatever tips you want from it... but believe me, especially if you are in AZ.. you're going to learn a hell of a lot more for Centsable Shoppin  and she is honest and gives you all sorts of deals.. so go follow her! :)  And remember Susan is not a TLC coupon hoarder biatch :)
