It boggles my mind... but my mind is cheap!

How in this day and age can you not want to save money? Unless you are a millionaire/billionaire I suppose, I can understand.. but otherwise I don't get it... I guess my brain is just wired differently?

If you are struggling financially... how can you NOT be a couponer?  I don't mean you have to coupon like me or those crazy peeps on that Extreme Couponing Show.. I just mean saving money when and where you can.

You don't have to buy the Sunday Paper - you can print coupons, you can ask your neighbor or your friends/family for their coupons they aren't going to use.

If you are buying online are you making sure you are getting the best deal? Did you search for a promo code, did you purchase via ebates or some other site that offers you cash back for your online purchases?

When you are going out to eat are you looking for coupons? Many places offer them take a second and look on their website, google (or better yet swagbuck) - check out restaurant.com to see if you can get a certificate for $2 or $3 for a $25 certificate... If you belong to an online community, see if anyone has a coupon you can have or trade for. Many, MANY people have the Entertainment book and are never going to use all those coupons.

I guess what I'm saying is - you are throwing money away if you don't do these things..  But hey if you like to throw your money away... I will gladly send you my address and you can send me some. LOL!!

So I challenge you all - to do at least one thing to save money, and I want you to post in comments what you have CHALLENGED yourself to do.. not something you already do, something NEW!

So what's it going to be?

My Challenge... to actually put from one of my shopping trips a week, what I saved into a savings account... It's going to be super tough, but that is my challenge starting 4.1.11.

  1. We made the last payment to 1 of our 4 student loans this month. My goal is to continue to make that payment each month - to our savings account!

  3. LOL, don't count on it! I made the last payment on another student loan tonight. If I can even put HALF of it in my Savings, it will be more than we were doing before!
